	Moonlite SCT Crayford Focuser
	The modular design of the CS focuser makes it very versatile for any SCT. Just pick the options you need in these 4 categories: Flange, Drawtube, Focus knob/motor, and Color. We offer everything from single rate drive configurations to our standard dual rate 8 to 1 heavy duty tri-knob reduction unit for heavy loads (CCD imagers and bino viewers). We offer several different types of motor systems and PC based interfaces providing automated focus ability running today's ASCOM software. Plus different draw tube travels and configurations for every kind of EP, Bino viewer and CCD camera. We offer a new special flange/ drawtube configuration that holds a focal reducer inside the focuser for the ultimate image/focuser platform. Our shaft lock option provides focus lock with no image shift by securing the shaft (not pushing against the drawtube). Choose from many styles of non vignetting flanges so the focuser is permitting maximum light through put. Beautiful anodized colors and custom machining (by request) make for a perfect, one of a kind focuser, to match your SCT, Vixen, Tak Mewlon, or Questar MoonLite's new SCT focuser configuration for imaging uses a special design that allows a focal reducer to be installed inside the focuser by threading it into the drawtube. The focuser is then installed on to the visual back. The focal reducer travels with the drawtube as the focuser is racked in and out providing the correct distance for imaging. This configuration requires one of 3 special flanges to be picked below, and a special .95" travel drawtube threaded just for focal reducers. This focal reducer option will only work on SCTs that have the large 3 1/4" threaded visual back such as Meade 10" 12" 14" and Celestron's 11" and 14" scopes. 	Moonlite Refractor Focusers
$Moonlite Refractor Focusers$	MoonLite manufactures over a dozen standard sizes of flanges that fit many different refractors, plus we do custom flanges for any size telescope by request. Please use the pull down menu to select the flange located at the bottom of this page. The flange bolts on to the focuser body with 3 bolts and acts as an interface between the refractor's OTA and the main focuser body. The thickness and diameter of the flange is designed for the telescope it is to be installed on. The smooth bore type flanges all have collimation ability using a simple 3-point push pull bolt/setscrew arraignment. The threaded style flanges do not provide collimation ability. Please note all focusers are factory collimated dead on before we ship them, and do not require any adjustment. The only time collimation should be changed is if the OTA has some kind of defect causing the focuser to set slanted on the tube. In this case the focuser's collimation ability would come in handy to correct the mechanical centerline collimation of the OTA in question. All flanges below have a rotating ability with lock knob providing camera angle adjustment. The AR5 flange fits the Meade AR5, Sky Watcher 5" refractors, and Antares. Plus other brands that use the same size OTA/ focuser configuration. The flange is very large and fits over the OTA on this particular style refractor. It is collimatable, or rotatable, we make 2 versions of this flange. We also make a CFL large 2.5" format focuser version. The AR6 flange fits the Meade AR6, Sky Watcher 6" refractors, and Antares. Plus other brands that use the same size OTA/ focuser configuration. The flange is very large and fits over the OTA on this particular style refractor. It is collimatable, or rotatable, we make 2 versions of this flange. We also make a CFL large 2.5" format focuser version. The AT80 flange fits the Astro-Tech 80EDT refractor. It matches the original thread pattern and is rotatable, Twin dove tails finder brackets are now provided on this flange. The Borg flange is threaded to fit both the 3" and 4" Borg refractors. It is rotatable. The Burgess flange is threaded to fit the Burgess 127mm refractor. It comes with a mini dovetail mount for a finder. The Celestron 80ED flange is threaded to fit the new Celestron 80 ED. It comes with twin mini dovetails mount for a finder, and is rotatable. The Celestron 100ED flange is threaded to fit the new Celestron 100 ED. It comes with a mini dovetail mount for a finder. The Meade 80 flange fits the Series 5000 80mm ED APO refractor. It matches the original thread pattern of the Meade OTA. Please pick the 4.5" travel comp ring drawtube, as it is a perfect match for this scope. It comes with twin mini dovetails mount for a finders, and is rotatable. The Orion 90 flange fits the Orion 90mm Sky View refractor. It matches the original 3 bolt flange pattern. It comes with twin mini dovetails mount for a finder, and is rotatable. The Stellarvue 80ED flange fits the Stellarvue 80ED. It matches the thread pattern on the OTA. It comes with twin mini dovetails mount for a finder, and is rotatable. The Stellarvue SV80 / 9D flange fits the Stellarvue SV80 / 9D refractor. It matches the 3 bolt pattern on the OTA. It comes with twin mini dovetails mount for a finder, and is rotatable. The Synta standard format flange is a direct fit for the Synta manufactured scopes such as the Celestron 6" refractor, Orion's 150mm, 120mm, 100mm, and 80mm refractors. This includes the Orion ED80, ED100 and ED120 plus Vixen's ED80FS and ED100SF. Many other brands also follow the Synta standard, please check the OTA's focuser mounting opening against our flange chart. The Synta flange is rotatable and features twin dovetail system for 2 finders, etc. The Synta small format flange is a direct fit for the Synta manufactured scopes such as the Orion's short tube 80 and 90. Many other brands also follow the Synta small flange format, please check the OTA's focuser mounting opening against our flange chart. The Synta small format flange is rotatable and features twin dovetail system for 2 finders, etc. The TV Genesis flange fits the Tele Vue Genesis pre- SDF OTAs. It matches the thread pattern on the TV OTA. It comes with twin mini dovetails mount for a finder, and is rotatable. The Vixen flange fits the 3 bolt 4 1/2" smooth bore standard. It also fits all of the older Celestron refractor made by Vixen for Celestron such as the Celestron 102, plus some Orion refractors made by Vixen. It comes with two mini dovetail mounts for finders/ etc. It is collimatable, or rotatable, we make 2 versions of this flange. We also make a CFL large 2.5" format focuser version. The Vixen VS threaded flange fits the smaller Vixen threaded standard found on models such as the 115ED, ED103S, and ED81S. It comes with a mini dovetail mount for a finder. We also make a CFL large 2.5" format focuser with this same thread flange size. The WO 66mm flange fits the William Optics 66mm Megrez and ZenithStar refractors. It is a rotatable 2-part flange that matches the OTA thread pattern. It comes with twin mini dovetails mount for a finders, and is rotatable. The WO 80, 90, and 102mm flange fits both the William Optics 80mm 90mm, and 102mm Megrez and ZenithStar refractors. It is a rotatable (1/2 flange) that reuses the original OTA end cap off the OTA. Just unbolt the original WO focuser (3 bolts) and bolt on the MoonLite in its place. The WO 105mm flange fits the William Optics 105mm refractor. It is a rotatable (1/2 flange) that reuses the original OTA end cap off the OTA. Just unbolt the original WO focuser (3 bolts) and bolt on the MoonLite in its place. Moonlite can machine a custom flange to fit your OTA. Cost is available by quotation.

	Moonlight Newtonian Focuser
	The modular design of the CR 2" format Newtonian focuser makes it very versatile. Just pick the options you need in these 3 categories: Drawtube, Focus knob/motor, and Color. We offer everything from our heavy duty tri-knob reduction unit with shaft lock system to different types of motor options for both visual or imaging configurations. Both the DC servo drive motor option and our "High Res" stepper motor option use PC based interfaces, providing automated focus ability running today's ASCOM software. Many different draw tube travels and configurations are available. Our collimatable tip tilt base design provides flexibility for achieving perfect mechanical centerline collimation should the need arise. Light weight plus custom anodized colors and a matching drawtube options make for a perfect custom focuser to match your scopes requirements. MoonLite offers 14 different drawtube configurations for the 2" format CR model focusers. Please use the pull down menu to select the drawtube located at the bottom of this page. Please Note - All focusers include a 2" to 1 1/4" adapter that is threaded for 2" filters for free ! All Drawtube options are free, except for the filter swing versions. The swing filter option is an additional $100. Regular drawtubes, single thumbscrew style--- come in 1.5" travel, 1.75" travel, standard 2" travel, 2.37" travel, and 2.75" travel. They are a low profile design and use a single 1/4-20 aluminum thumbscrew (non compression ring style). The standard drawtube is a good choice for regular loads and has the lowest profile of all of the drawtube options. It comes with an 1 1/4"adapter. Regular drawtube, single thumbscrew style with 3 mini set screws. This is a special variation of the 1.5" travel drawtube, it is tapped with 3 small 8-32 set screws at the top of the drawtube. They can be used to permanently attach very heavy loads and still keep a very low profile with out having to pick the taller 3-thumbscrew compression ring version. Compression ring drawtubes, 3 thumb screw style--- Feature a brass compression ring with three 10-32 size thumbscrews oriented at 120 degrees apart. They can hold very heavy loads and is a good choice for off axis loads such as bino viewers that place torque on the focuser drawtube. The 3 thumbscrew configuration can hold a huge amount of weight. The bump out section on the top of the drawtube adds 3/8" to the height of the focuser, but the extra height is not an issue on most Newtonian scopes. The 2" travel version is our most popular custom pick. Low position compression ring style drawtube. This is a special variation of the short 1.5" travel comp ring drawtube as above but the brass compression ring is located in a lower position so the brass compression ring clamps around the true 2" OD of diagonal or some cameras, not at the beveled under cut area. Some Diagonals and CCD cameras brands have bevels back cut in to the 2" OD barrel. MooNLite's "Low position" drawtube solves the misalignment problem and grips across the true 2" OD to properly maintain accurate collimation and load bearing ability. Please note- the "low position" comp ring bump out on the top of the drawtube adds .8" to the height of the focuser, not 3/8" like the regular comp ring design does. Swing filter drawtube------comes in the 2" travel versions only and is offered in both the regular style single thumbscrew version and the comp ring three thumbscrew version. This drawtube is an additional $100 for the filter swing option. Just screw in your favorite 2" filter, (we are partial to the UHC and O-III), and you can swing it in and out of your view with an above board lever located on the draw tube. Your filter rides along in the bottom of the draw tube so focusing, changing eyepieces, or alternating from clear to filtered view is made quick and easy. There is an above mounted lever that swings the filter in and out. This lever travel along with the drawtube so it is easy to reach on the side of the focuser. This particular drawtube has a filter shaft holder that bumps out on the side of the drawtube by about a 1/2", so it is not intended for every scope. A 1/2" notch must be provided in the focuser board for the shaft holder. It also requires the scope have a thin focuser board. This is due to the filter holder having somewhere to swing out to with out hitting the board when the focuser is in a high racked up position. When the drawtube is racked down or in the middle of its travel range, the filter swing can easily swing out in to the open space inside the OTA.
